Review Process

Basic Premise of ADRC Work

The work of ADRC is grounded in the following attributes;

  • Fairness
  • Objectivity
  • Evidence
  • Natural Justice

These attributes are systemic and provide guidance and direction for the development of ADRC's recommendations to NCAC. Such attributes imply a scrutiny of the evidence based on an open-minded, good faith examination of both sides of the disputed facts, respect for the rights of the parties involved, and a principled decision that is based specifically on the information and facts presented.

To ensure such attributes are applied and each application is examined on its own merits, ADRC process is informed by the rules of substantiative due process. This requires each application to be examined fairly and in totality with the recommendation/s grounded in the evidence presented and not assumptions or preconceived conclusions.
