Review Process

ADRC Priority Rating

ADRC is aware that services submitting an Application for Review of their Accreditation Decision are awaiting the outcome of that review.

However ADRC is concerned with the ultimate safety of all children and as such confidence in the standard of quality care being provided. Therefore ADRC has, in line with Australian Government Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations policy, implemented a Priority Policy for assessing each Application for Review.

The Policy Rating is based upon the following criteria:

1. services that have not met the standard required for accreditation
2. services that have met the standard required for accreditation

All Applications for Review will be reviewed by ADRC within a four month timeframe (from receipt by ADRC of the Application of Review to submission of Report with recommendations to the service and NCAC). If this timeframe is exceeded ADRC will notify the service and provide a revised timeframe.

Should any service require further clarification on this Priority Policy please contact the Chair of ADRC.
